1.Plate Cutting
According to the dimensional and shape requirements of the pontoon undercarriage parts, numerically controlled flame cutting machines, plasma cutting machines and other equipment are used to cut and blank the steel plates to obtain the preliminary part blanks.
2.Machinin
• Rough Machining:Carry out rough machining on the cut part blanks, including turning, milling, drilling, boring, etc., to remove most of the allowance and approach the final shape and size of the parts.
• Finish Machining:Semi-finish machining and finish machining are carried out to ensure that the dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerance and surface roughness of the parts meet the design requirements.
3.Welding
Assemble and weld the processed parts according to the design requirements to form various components of the amphibious excavator pontoon, such as the walking frame, slewing platform, etc. During the welding process, the welding process parameters should be strictly controlled to ensure the welding quality and reduce the welding deformation.
4.Surface Treatment
Carry out surface treatment on the welded components, such as shot blasting treatment, to remove rust, scale and impurities on the surface, improve the surface hardness and roughness, and enhance the adhesion of the subsequent coating. Then paint or spray an anti-corrosion coating to play the role of anti-corrosion and beautification.
5.Component Assembly
Assemble the processed components as well as purchased standard parts and outsourced parts, such as installing the walking mechanism, slewing mechanism, hydraulic pipelines, electrical systems, to form a complete an amphibious excavator pontoon undercarriage.
6.Debugging and Detection
Carry out a comprehensive debugging and detection on the assembled excavator undercarriage, including walking performance test, slewing performance test, hydraulic system pressure test, electrical system function test, to ensure that all performance indicators of the chassis meet the design requirements.
7.Quality Inspection
Carry out the final quality inspection on the amphibious excavator pontoon undercarriage according to the relevant quality standards and inspection specifications, including appearance inspection, dimensional accuracy inspection, performance test, etc. Only the floating excavator’s pontoon undercarriage that passes the inspection can enter the next process or be delivered for use.
