Hubei River Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest enterprises in China that has been committed to the research, development and production of river dredging equipment. It has technologies and experiences in the business of amphibious excavators that have been leading the industry for many years. We possess our own R & D, production, sales and engineering construction teams. Our business covers more than 50 cities across the country, as well as overseas regions such as Poland, Russia, Africa and Indonesia.

The main business of the company includes the manufacturing of pontoon undercarriages for amphibious excavators, the modification of amphibious excavators, the whole-machine sales of amphibious excavators, the manufacturing of cutter suction pumps, the manufacturing of extended arms and so on. In terms of engineering projects, it undertakes river dredging projects, lake dredging projects, sea reclamation projects, seaside piling projects and oil pipeline sinking projects.

1. In 2003, the first water conservancy engineering company was established, mainly engaged in projects such as river dredging. In that year, it undertook the Caofeidian sea reclamation project led jointly by the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau and the Shanghai Waterway Bureau, thus accumulating rich construction experience.

2. In 2005, a special R & D group with the main R & D direction of amphibious excavators was set up, focusing on improving the limitations and deficiencies of amphibious excavators in construction projects. During this process, sufficient foundation and technical talents were accumulated.

3. In 2007, the first pontoon undercarriage suitable for amphibious excavators, which was improved and produced by River Machinery, was delivered from the factory. Once it was put into the market, it received positive feedback and the market scale expanded rapidly.

4. In 2010, a factory was officially established in Tianjin to expand the production scale. The R & D group was expanded into an R & D department, and a production department was separately established. And the products were exported to many countries and regions such as Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.

5. In 2014, in order to further meet the needs of river dredging projects and reduce construction costs, River Machinery officially launched the research and development of cutter suction pumps for amphibious excavators. It reduced the use cost of cutter suction pumps by half and also filled the defects of dredging ships in the field of river dredging construction.

6. In 2015, the cutter suction pumps developed and produced by River Machinery were officially put into use. The self-developed and produced cutter suction pumps were used in many engineering projects, and a large amount of practical data was obtained. During this process, the actual performance of the cutter suction pumps was consistent with that of the imported ones.

7. In 2017, in response to the national environmental protection policies, River Machinery reduced the production scale of the Tianjin factory, signed an investment project with the Honghu Municipal Government of Hubei Province, and built an industrial plant covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters in Hubei Province.

8. In 2018, Hubei River Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was officially established with an investment. The first-phase factory with an area of 6,000 square meters was built.

9. In March 2019, the factory of Hubei River Machiner Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was officially put into production. In April, the first pontoon undercarriage after the official production was off the production line.

Multiple Exclusive Patents

The company submitted more than 10 patent technology applications in 2016. The projects involved products such as pontoon undercarriages for amphibious excavators and cutter suction pumps. And it was approved in that year, making it one of the few manufacturers in China that obtained technical patents in the industry.
