Mr. Zhu, an experienced excavator operator, owns a complete Komatsu PC70 excavator.
Recently, he secured contracts for driving cement piles in small river channels and dredging fish ponds. The choice of cement piles was made because wooden piles in river channels are prone to corrosion by insects and other organisms, resulting in a much shorter lifespan compared to cement piles.
Cement piles not only last longer but also more effectively prevent riverbank collapse. With the same construction timeline and efficiency, cement piles offer superior slope protection, providing longer-lasting stability.
To ensure his clients remember his excavator more clearly and prioritize working with him for future projects, Mr. Zhu initiated discussions with an excavator manufacturing factory.
After negotiations, the two parties reached an agreement—enhancing the machine’s visibility by changing the color of the floating pontoons on its undercarriage.
Soon after, Mr. Zhu delivered his Komatsu PC70 excavator to the factory.
The factory team swiftly got to work, completing the fabrication, assembly, testing, and other processes for the undercarriage in just one week.
The original undercarriage was replaced with eye-catching pitaya (dragon fruit)-colored amphibious pontoons before the machine was shipped and delivered.
The modified excavator is now better suited for river and pond operations in terms of functionality, while its striking and unique appearance ensures it stands out among other equipment. With this revitalized excavator, Mr. Zhu is poised to win the favor and recognition of his clients, ensuring the successful completion of all construction tasks.
